Sunderland will find out their 2019/20 Carabao Cup first round opponents on Thursday evening.
June 20 is set to be a busy day in the calendar of Black Cats fans with the Carabao Cup first round draw coming just hours after the League One fixture release earlier that day.
70 EFL clubs will enter the competition at the first round stage and Jack Ross' side will look to improve on last season's showing which saw them beaten by Sheffield Wednesday in the first round.
Sunderland have a rich recent history in the competition having reached the final in 2014.

When and where does the draw take place?
The draw will take place live from Morrisons, Colindale at 7pm on Thursday June 20, within a short distance from Wembley Stadium – the home of the Carabao Cup Final.
Liverpool legend John Barnes and former Arsenal favourite Ray Parlour will be conducting the draw.

70 EFL Clubs will feature in the Round One draw which will see teams drawn in Northern and Southern sections, as in 2018.
All 20 Premier League clubs receive a bye in the first round, as well as recently-relegated sides Cardiff City and Fulham.
