When is the Carabao Cup final? Date and kick-off time

Tottenham and Chelsea go head to head this evening in the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final clash.

The Blues lead the tie 2-0 on aggregate, having dispatched the north Londoners in the first leg at Stamford Bridge.

Awaiting them in the final will be either Liverpool or Arsenal, who have yet to begin their last-four matches due to the first leg being postponed because of Covid cases in the Reds' camp.

Their first leg kicks off tomorrow night at Anfield, while the return fixtures takes place at the Emirates on Thursday, January 20.

Whoever emerges victorious in both semi-finals will meet at Wembley to decide who will be crowned Carabao Cup winners.

When is the final?

The EFL Cup final will take place on Sunday, February 27, 2022, at Wembley.

What time does the match kick off?

This hasn't been confirmed yet, but the finals have started at 4.30pm every year since 2016.

The winner of the competition is rewarded with a place in the Europa League for the following season.

Last season the competition was won by Manchester City - the fourth year in a row they had claimed the trophy.
