When is the Betfred Cup semi-final draw? Live stream, TV and fixture details

We've not yet reached October but already a trip to Hampden beckons for the eight clubs remaining in the Betfred Cup .

This week's quarter-final ties will decide who heads to the national stadium with four teams a step closer to claiming the first silverware of the season.

Celtic are bidding to retain the trophy for the fourth straight season and are hot favourites to be in the draw as they host Championship strugglers Partick Thistle.

Rangers face a tricky test on the plastic pitch at the Tony Macaroni Arena, where they came unstuck to Livingston on league duty last season.

There's a huge all-Premiership fixture at Tynecastle as Hearts welcome Aberdeen , with both sides needing a big result to kick-start their seasons.

All those fixtures will be decided on Wednesday night but when will the semi-final clashes be revealed?

What time is it?

The SPFL have confirmed the draw will be held immediately after the televised clash, which is Rangers' trip to Livingston which kicks off at 7.45pm, so expect the draw after 9.30pm. Extra time in that fixture will inevitably push the start time back.

What channel is it on?

You can watch it in full on BT Sport 1 and BT Sport Ultimate. You can stream the draw live on the BT Sport app.

When will the semi-finals take place?

The semi-final matches are scheduled to take place on the weekend of November 2/3.
