When is Scunthorpe vs Sunderland, is it on TV, can you still buy tickets and who is in the teams?

Sunderland make the trip to Scunthorpe on Tuesday night needing a win to progress from the group stages of the Leasing.com Trophy.

Last week's disappointing 2-1 loss to Leicester u21s has left the Black Cats in third place in Group A and they now have to beat the second-placed Iron at Glanford Park if they are to progress to the knockout stages.

The Black Cats made the final of the competition last season but the focus, seemingly, this term is primarily on winning promotion from League One.

Phil Parkinson's side head into the clash on the back of a 1-1 draw with Gillingham in the FA Cup first round but will sign off for 11 days after the Scunthorpe clash due to the international break.

Paul Hurst's Scunthorpe side are 21st in League Two and have won just one of their last five games in all competitions.
