When is Phoenix Open? TV channel, live stream, tee times including Jon Rahm, Justin Thomas and Viktor Hovland

After a number of Pro-Am and multi-course tournaments in recent weeks on the PGA Tour, there’s a star-studded field as players return to TPC Scottsdale for the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

It’s a tournament the boasts the largest crowds of any golf event in the world, with 20,000 cramming into the stands around the par-three 16th hole in what is always an iconic scene. There are typically more than 200,000 fans on the course each day over the weekend.

The intense atmosphere is likely to be even more raucous this year as fans return after a pandemic-enforced absence.

Brooks Koepka and Hideki Matsuyama have both won this tournament twice, and are two of the 14 players in the world’s top 20 that are teeing it up in Phoenix this week.

Viktor Hovland returns to the PGA Tour, after his win at the Dubai Desert Classic, while Jon Rahm will be looking to cement his place at the top of the rankings with a first victory since he won the US Open in June 2021.

Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas will also fancy their chances of success, with both boasting impressive course form, while Rickie Fowler will be glad to arrive as he continues to try and regain the form he showed to win the event in 2019.

Here’s all you need to know about the tournament this week...
