When is Peyton Manning eligible for the Hall of Fame?

Peyton Manning, the only starting quarterback in NFL history to win a Super Bowl with two different teams, will be eligible for the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2021.

Manning is one of three notable players that will be eligible for the first time in 2021, joining defensive back Charles Woodson and wide receiver Calvin Johnson. That class is going to be remarkable.

Manning entered the league as a first-round pick out of Tennessee with the Colts in 1998. He helped Indianapolis reach two Super Bowls — winning one of them — during his time with the Colts.

In 2012, Manning signed with the Broncos and he went on to help them reach two Super Bowls during a four-year span, winning a title in Denver as well. Manning retired from football following the 2015 season.

Manning holds NFL records for the most passing yards in a single season (5,477), the most touchdown passes in a single season (55) and the most career touchdown passes (539). Manning is a lock to be enshrined in Canton, Ohio when he becomes eligible in 2021.
