When is Mulan coming to Disney Plus UK?

The live-action Mulan is finally arriving to streaming platform Disney+ this weekend.

Fans will be able to stream the film as part of their subscription from Friday, December 4.

It was originally expected to be released in cinemas earlier this year, but it was postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Disney decided to release the film on pay-per-view platforms - including Disney+ - where fans could purchase the film at an extra cost. But now it'll be available to stream as part of the platform's monthly subscription, so you won't have to pay any extra.

The film follows a fearless young woman who risks everything out of love for her family and her country to become one of the greatest warriors China has ever known.

It comes from acclaimed director Niki Caro and stars Yifei Liu in the title role, bringing the beloved animation to life in the action filled adventure.

If you're already signed up to Disney+ just log into your account and stream Mulan whenever you like from December 4.

For those who aren't signed up you can join with a free seven-day trial and then pay £5.99 per month or £59.99 per year.

It's also home to other live-action adaptions The Jungle Book, Aladdin, Maleficent and The Lion King as well as the Star Wars and Marvel collections, The Simpsons boxset and Disney's animated classics.
