In the UK, Mother's Day moves in accordance with Easter, which is determined by the lunar calendar. It means that the date always falls on the fourth Sunday of Lent, which is exactly three weeks before Easter.

When is Mother's Day UK in 2023?
This year Mother's Day falls on Sunday, March 19 in the UK. Next year the date will change again and all the mums/mams and maternal figures will be celebrated on Sunday, March 10, 2024.
