Molly McCann is set to come up against by far the most difficult opponent of her career to date later this year after her next fight was announced.
McCann extended her UFC win streak to three with a vicious knockout of Hannah Goldy at UFC London. It came by way of a spinning back elbow, after her knockout of the year contender at the O2 Arena back in March, McCann needed less than one round to dispose of Goldy in front of a sold-out crowd.
After the fight, the Meatball officially became a ranked fighter, coming in at #15 in the women's flyweight division.

Now, she has been given a huge fight on a main event card, with the 32-year-old set to fight on the same card as Israel Adesanya at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
It sees her follow in the footsteps of her cousin, Katie Taylor, who also fought in the same arena - becoming the first ever woman to headline a boxing match in the arena.
Now, McCann will come up against her toughest opponent to date, fighting #13 ranked Erin Blanchfield at UFC 281 on November 12.
Blanchfield is seen as one of the up-and-coming fighters in the division, remaining undefeated in the UFC with a 3-0 record and a 10-1 record on her career.
