MasterChef: The Professionals has returned to our screens for its 14th series, with 32 chefs fighting to impress Gregg Wallace, Marcus Wareing and Monica Galletti.
“As a MasterChef: The Professionals judge and someone who loves eating out, I’m so excited that the series is back,” Wallace has said.
“We’ve got some outstanding talent and it’s great to rediscover the joys of beautiful restaurant food.”
Galletti added: “The hospitality industry has faced such unprecedented challenges over the past 18 months. Britain’s chefs have been busting to get back behind the stove and I cannot wait for them to get cooking with passion and pride.”

When is MasterChef: The Professionals back on BBC One?
There are three MasterChef: The Professionals episodes a week. It’s on BBC One every Monday evening at 8.30pm as well as either Wednesdays and Thursdays, or Thursdays and Fridays, over the next four weeks.
How many episodes are there of MasterChef: The Professionals?
The last season of MasterChef: The Professionals ran for 18 episodes because of Covid restrictions and was set entirely within the MasterChef kitchen.
With restrictions loosened, this season will be back to the 21-episode run previous MasterChef: The Professionals competitions have spanned.
