Thousands of runners have taken to London's streets to push their bodies to the absolute limit in this year's marathon.
And there will be thousands more watching at home inspired to lace up their running shoes next year.
The marathon begins in Greenwich Park and the 26.2 mile route will take runners on a tour of the capital past several landmarks before finishing outside Buckingham Palace.
The main race gets under way at 10am, after the elite wheelchair, women's and men's races have all set off.
When will the London Marathon take place in 2020?
At this point, a date has not yet been confirmed for the marathon next year.
Typically, they take place on one of the two last Sundays in April which means it could either be on April 19 or 26, 2020.
How do I enter?
Runners enter the London Marathon by ballot or through a charity.
The date for the ballot has not been confirmed yet, but it usually opens about a week after the marathon, so this year it might be around May 6.
You will be able to sign up for free on the London Marathon website and find out if you got a place in October.
