When is Glastonbury 2022? Festival goers look ahead to next year after Glastonbury 2021 cancelled

Glastonbury Festival 2021 has been cancelled which had led many people to wonder when the 2022 festival will take place.

Organisers Micheal and Emily Eavis tweeted today to say it was "with great regret" that they were cancelling this year’s festival.

The pair confirmed that tickets for this year will roll over to 2022.

In a statement posted on Twitter, Michael and Emily said they were now looking ahead to next year.

They said: "We are very appreciative of the faith and trust placed in us by those of you with deposits, and we are very confident we can deliver something really special for us all in 2022."

When is Glastonbury 2022?

The dates for the 2022 festival are yet to be announced. Last year's festival was due to take place from June 25 to June 29 but was cancelled due to the pandemic.

This year's event was due to take place from June 23 to 27.

The event usually takes place during the last full week of June, so it's likely that it will be held at Worthy Farm from June 22 to 25, 2022, though this has yet to be confirmed and dates could differ next year depending on developments with coronavirus pandemic.
