On Monday, May 25, George Floyd, an unarmed 46-year-old Black man, died in police custody after a white officer knelt on his neck for nearly nine minutes.
His death has sparked anti-racism protests throughout the United States and across the globe, with demonstrators calling for an end to police brutality and systemic discrimination.
A public memorial to mark his passing has already taken place in Minneapolis, where he was killed. Similar ceremonies were also held in North Carolina and Texas.

Where have previous memorials been held?
A series of public memorials honouring Mr Floyd have been held prior to his funeral.
The events took place in Minneapolis, where he died, North Carolina, where he was born, and Texas, where he spent most of his life.
Speaking at the event in Texas on Monday, Mr Floyd's younger brother, Rodney, said his sibling had a beautiful soul.
"If he was told he would have to sacrifice his life to bring the world together ... knowing him, I know he would've did it," Rodney Floyd said.
