The finale of the French Open continues to draw nearer as the women's draw gets whittled down from eight to four.
A huge shock in the quarter-finals saw teenager Amanda Anisimova beat former world no.1 and reigning champion Simona Halep in straight sets to reach the last four.
However, she lost to no.8 seed Ashleigh Barty 7-6 3-6 3-6 as the Australian reached her first ever Grand Slam final.
The other semi-final saw British hope Johanna Konta, no.26 seed, lose to the unseeded Marketa Vondrousova in straight sets, another who reaches her first major showpiece.
So we will definitely have a fresh name on the list of Roland Garros winners.
When is the men's Final?
The French Open women's Final will take place on Saturday, February 8.
