There’s little time left to jump on the current season of Fortnite.
The current Galactic Battle season, which launched on May 2, came with a range of new additions including picking up Force Lightning abilities.
Other skills players have unlocked include flying X-Wings and taking on Vader Samurai at a new map location.
Here’s everything we know about Fortnite’s next update, including the release date and possible new features.
When is Fortnite’s next update?
The next Fortnite update is set to launch on Saturday, June 7, after the current season ends at 2am BST. This date was revealed in a blog post by Fortnite developer Epic Games.
The Galactic Battle season will conclude with a live event called Death Star Sabotage, where players will engage in an epic intergalactic struggle to ensure the battle royale island's existence.
It is advised that you jump in as early as possible, as the event will go live for queuing two hours before the start time.
Players can anticipate to be able to control a TIE Fighter or an X-Wing and launch a full-scale attack on the Death Star.
Players that participate will also receive limited-time incentives and exclusive cosmetics.
Sith Rey, a new dark-side take on the Star Wars heroine, is anticipated to be the last unlocked skin before the season concludes.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 4
Based on past launches, we can anticipate a few hours of downtime on the same day as Chapter 6 Season 3 concludes before the new season launches.
Although the theme has not yet been disclosed by Epic Games, findings and leaks indicate that the new season will have a superhero theme.

It is speculated that there will be a crossover with DC Comics, including adventures with a villain theme and a new Superman skin.
At least two named sites are anticipated to alter on the updated map, perhaps adding a Metropolis or Fort Fortress-style area.
According to rumours, Season 4 will also build upon the ‘legacy powers’ concept by adding new traversal tools, such as grappling wings or hero enhancements, to movement mechanics from previous seasons.
