When is Fingal Fleadh returning to Dublin and what is the line up?

The much anticipated Fingal Fleadh is set to return to Dublin for four days of craic agus ceol.

The free festival will take place at Swords Castle from September 5 to September 8 with concerts planned featuring The Kilfenora Céilí Band, Ulaid, Liam O’Maonlai, Moya Brennan & Cormac de Barra, John Spillane, The Dixie Micks, and many more.

The Fingal Fleadh will celebrate the area’s strong tradition of music with an emphasis on participation and performance along with free workshops.

A ‘Session Trail’ will make its way around town featuring a mix of performances and open sessions during the afternoon and night.

There will also be performances from Rinceoil Rush and Inis Rua - Skerries.

The family-friendly festival will see a variety of fun events for children on Sunday like Yoga for Kids and Family Irish Dancing classes held in the Castle Marquee.

Mayor of Fingal Councillor Eoghan O’Brien said: “I look forward to the fantastic music, great atmosphere, and warm welcome that the Fingal Fleadh will bring to all who attend.

“With the historic Swords Castle as the centrepiece, the festival will be another Fingal event not to be missed.”
