When is Fear Street part 2 and 3 released on Netflix? - Plus cast, trailer and more

If you've just finished watching Fear Street Part 1: 1994 on Netflix, you'll know it ends with a pretty huge cliff-hanger.

Luckily, fans won't have to wait long to find out what happens next, as the next episode is coming out very soon.

Although fans should be warned that there's a significant backwards time jump, with the next instalment taking place in 1978, suggesting that this twisty Netflix thriller is going to be anything but straightforward.

When is Fear Street part 2 and 3 released on Netflix?

The next instalment, Fear Street Part 2: 1978, will be released on Friday, July 9.

Like the 1994 instalment, the 1978 instalment takes place in the troubled town of Shadyside. However, Part 2 follows a group of teenagers, whose idyllic summer at Camp Nightingale is disrupted by a gruesome murder spree.

The final instalment, Fear Street Part 3: 1666, will come out on Friday, July 16. It follows a colony gripped by a hysterical witch-hunt. Meanwhile, we rejoin the 1994 cast as they try to figure out the origins of their town's curse.

Who is in the Fear Street cast?

The Fear Street cast boasts a number of up-and-coming Gen Z stars.

Her crush, Samantha, is played by Olivia Scott Welch, who you might recognise from Modern Family.

Other recognisable stars include Maya Hawke (Stranger Things) as Heather, Jordana Spiro (The Good Wife) as Mrs Lane, and Gillian Jacobs (Community) as C. Berman.
