When is England vs India? How to watch T20 World Cup semi-final

Harry Brook and Suryakumar Yadav - (London Standard)

India take on England in the second T20 World Cup semi-final on Thursday.

England are gunning to reach their second final in three tournaments, but face a stern test against the hosts and reigning champions.

2022 champions England flattered to deceive in the group stage - including defeat to West Indies and a narrow win over Nepal - before beating Sri Lanka, Pakistan and New Zealand to top their Super 8 group

India swept through the group games before their 12-match win streak was ended by South Africa in emphatic fashion in the Super 8 stage.

It has set up an intriguing semi-final clash in Mumbai, in which England will hope to punish India with a potent spin threat.

Sanju Samson's return to the side has seen India recover from defeat to South Africa, which was their largest loss margin in T20 World Cup history, but has previous struggled against the likes of Jofra Archer in the past.

The hosts are heavy favourites to reach the final, where they will play the winner between South Africa and New Zealand.

But England, led by the impressive Harry Brook, cannot be ruled out, though a return to form for Jos Buttler could be key.
