The 15th annual Dublin Dance Festival opens tomorrow in the capital - and it promises to be a celebration of brilliant dance from across the globe.
The event takes place in venues across Dublin throughout May with a programme that includes ground-breaking work by legendary dance artists.
The 19-day event opens with RIOT in Vicar Street starring Panti Bliss and other highlights include Session, a collaboration between Irish dance artist Colin Dunne and Olivier Award-winning Flemish-Moroccan choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui in the Abbey Theatre.

The festival also has plenty for younger audiences such as W.A.M. We Are Monchichi, a gorgeous, playful, multicultural adventure by Company Wang Ramirez is for ages 7+.
Princesses Can Be Pirates, a free family event in Meeting House Square is a hilarious escapade for ages 4+ that turns stereotypes upside down.
And you can even pop on your own dancing shoes at events such as the Top 8 Street Dance Battle with Tobi Omoteso featuring the freshest street dancers from Ireland and abroad.
Top 8 and the Red Bull Dance Connect team will be giving high-energy Street Dance Workshops for all dance abilities aged 10+ at DanceHouse.
The following Saturday 11 May, Company Wang Ramirez will be leading a fun workshop at The Ark for ages 7–12 incorporating hip-hop and contemporary dance techniques.
Meanwhile, Tiny Dancer: A DJ Set for Kids will see kids aged 0-9 taking over the dance floor as DJ Donal Dineen hits the decks with dance anthems from every era.
The festival also sees Bounce Club Night, a club experience for adults with intellectual disabilities, coming to Dublin for the first time.
