After weeks of waiting the date for the Boots 70% off sale 2020 has finally been announced.
It turns out the rumours which have been circulating for a while were right and the retailer will be starting its day of huge discounts this Friday, January 31.
Which means anyone heading to Boots' this Friday should expect huge queues outside its stores before its doors open, shelves to be cleared within the first hour and plenty of excited customers.
But why so much excitement? Well, because for one day, Boots reduces the price of gift sets and beauty products from some of its biggest brands.
For example in previous years we've spotted Soap & Glory gift sets reduced from £60 to £18 and No7 gift sets reduced from £80 to £24.

Last year we visited our local Boots' store and spotted customers who had come prepared - some used IKEA bags instead of shopping baskets, while others worked in pairs to grab as many items as they could.
Inside its stores Boots dedicate a whole section to the sale.
