When is Black Friday? 2021 date as expert warns shoppers

It may not officially be autumn yet, according to the astronomical calendar, but talk of Black Friday 2021 is already rife.

The event is often the biggest shopping day of the year, and while most of it takes place online these days, consumers have been known to scramble to shops to get the best deals.

However, experts have warned this year may be different to usual.

Tom Church, co-founder of money-saving community LatestDeals.co.uk, has advised video game consoles, monitors, and tablets may be in restricted availability this year.

He explained: "A number of issues are impacting the UK this year, such as fewer lorry drivers, massive order delays and shipping costs hitting the roof." You can read more of what he said here.

But when is Black Friday this year?

The shopping event falls on Friday, November 26 in 2021.

It will be followed by Cyber Monday on November 29.

It's likely, however, that many companies will have week-long sale events worth looking out for, such as Amazon and AO.com.

And some could start even earlier, after sales and discounts dropped in October last year.
