When is Anthony on TV? Date, time and channel for Anthony Walker drama

A new drama about Anthony Walker is set to air next week on BBC One.

The 90 minute film explores the life Anthony could of lived if he wasn't killed in a racist attack.

Anthony was a Liverpool teenager with a devout Christian faith and a love of basketball.

The 18-year-old was halfway through college and wanted to become a lawyer and visit America.

But in July 2005 he was killed in Huyton in a racist attack.

When will Anthony be on TV?

The 90-minute drama will explore the life Anthony could have lived if his life wasn't cut tragically short.

The drama will air on BBC1 on Monday July 27 at 8:30pm.

Inspired by conversations with Gee Walker, Anthony's mother, about the boy Anthony was and the man he was to become, this is the story of the life he could have lived.

The story works backwards from him (imagined) age 25 to the night of his death.

It shows the wonderful person he was and the brilliant things he was set to achieve.

The film imagines a love story he never got to have, the birth of his first child, a career in civil rights and how he helps those around him.
