When is Amazon Prime Day 2021: date, what is it and what to expect

One of the largest annual online sale events is returning - and it's sooner than you think.

Amazon Prime Day is often highly anticipated by many, with deals available exclusively for Prime subscribers.

This year’s annual event has now been confirmed by the online retail giant and will take place across two days.

Amazon Prime Day 2021 is set for June 21 - 22.

The two-day event will give shoppers a chance to save on thousands of tech, home and fashion products as well as Amazon's popular own-brand items such as the Echo Dot and Fire HD.

However, shoppers with their eye on something specific should check online now, as Amazon has released a range of early Amazon Prime Day deals you can buy now.

During the two-day event shoppers will be able to get their hands on everything from bumper packs of toilet rolls to vacuum cleaners, laptops and game consoles.

Amazon Prime Day is exclusive to shoppers with an Amazon Prime membership, which costs £79 per year or £7.99 per month.

If you'd rather not commit to the membership, you can sign up for a free 30-day trial in order to get your hands on some bargains during Amazon Prime Day. Just don't forget to cancel it before the subscription expires or you'll be charged for the full annual fee.
