Much like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Amazon Prime Day is one of the biggest sale events of the year.
Last year's event was extended to 48 hours and took place on July 15, but the tech giant has just confirmed that Prime Day 2020 will be held on October 13 and 14.
The eagerly-anticipated flash sale, which is available exclusively for Amazon Prime subscribers (or those who are on a free trial for the scheme), gives shoppers a chance to save on millions of products.
These include Amazon's Echo smart speakers, Kindles and Fire TV streaming gadgets.
Whether you're hoping to snap up a discounted TV or cordless vacuum, here's all you need to know about Amazon Prime Day 2020.
When is Amazon Prime Day 2020?

Amazon has confirmed this year's UK Prime day will take place from October 13 to October 14, giving shoppers enough time to prepare for the event.
The annual sale event normally takes place in July, but is being held later than usual due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Doug Gurr, Amazon UK Country Manager said “After a tough six months for everyone, we’re committed to making this the most successful Prime Day ever for small businesses, and excited for members to discover the very best from artisans and entrepreneurs in the UK, whilst saving big on everything they need and love from the comfort of their homes.”
What deals to expect

On Prime Day 2019, some of the most shopped for categories in the UK included food, make-up and video games.
There were also discounts on items like Bosch cordless drills, Shark vacuum cleaners and Tanqueray Gin.
An Oral-B SmartSeries 6500 CrossAction Electric Toothbrush was down from £92.95 to £54.99, while the Apple iPhone XR was reduced from £749 to £639.
How to get involved?
Those who are keen to bag some bargains will need to be signed up to Amazon Prime.
If you sign up for the premium membership, you'll get free next day delivery and access to Amazon Music and eBooks.
It's priced at £79 per year or £7.99 per month, but Amazon also offers a free 30-day trial if you just want to try out the service.
The online giant slashed the price of their annual offering to £59 just before Prime Day 2019 - but we're not sure if it will do the same before this year's event.
How to find the best Prime Day deals?
If you want to get your hands on the best deals this year, here are some tips that could help.
1. Make a list
To avoid going overboard, try to make some form of list of what exactly you want and how much you're willing to spend on it.
2. Watch a deal
The Amazon App lets customers watch deals early in every country. This way you can preview, track and shop those limited time lightning deals at home or on-the-go with deal alerts on the Amazon App.
It also means you won't have to keep refreshing the website to see what new deals have come in.
3. Don't panic buy
As new flash deals are usually released throughout the day, you won't need to quickly buy the first cheap TV or coffee machine you see. Be wary of the time limits too, as you might miss out if you're not fast enough.
