When is Abba Voyage released? Band set to release new album after 40 years

Swedish pop group Abba have announced they’re releasing new music on their first studio album for four decades.

The band split up in 1982 and fans gave up any hope of hearing anything fresh from them after an official reunion never materialised.

But now they’re back and are set to release a new 10-track album which will be out later this year, coinciding with a virtual concert where avatars will play their old hits such as Mamma Mia.

Let’s give you more details then on Abba, including when its Voyage album is actually released, what the group’s net worth is and who the members of Abba are.

When is Abba Voyage released?

The new album, Voyage, from Abba, is due to be released on Friday, November 5, 2021.

Two songs from it were first played during a live-streamed press conference yesterday. They were: I Still Have Faith In You and Don’t Shut Me Down.

These songs, as well as the other album’s other tracks, will also be played during the band’s virtual concert, also titled Abba Voyage, which will take place at a custom-built arena at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in east London from May next year.

But it won’t feature the actual members of Abba as instead the songs will be sung by virtual avatars of them as well as a live band.

Tickets for the tour go on sale on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 and there should be plenty of nights for you to choose from.

Who are the members of Abba and what does Abba stand for?

Abba is made up of four band members. They are: Benny Andersson, Agnetha Faltskog, Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Bjorn Ulvaeus.

Abba is an acronym for the first letter of the first name of each of the band members. So, literally speaking, it’s A for Anni, B for Benny, B for Bjorn and A for Agnetha.

What is Abba’s net worth?

The website Celebrity Net Worth has reported details on the wealth of the group, and it says each member of the band is worth between a staggering $200 million to $300 million.

They have amassed their money from single and album sales, as well as music tours and other gigs. The band have also earned royalties from various TV shows and films.
