When is 80s crooner Jason Donovan coming to Dublin and where can I get tickets?

Australian star Jason Donovan is ready to mend all the broken hearts as he’ll be playing in Dublin next year.

The 80s crooner will be taking to the stage in the capital at the Olympia on November 6 as part of his 2020 UK and Ireland tour.

Tickets for Jason Donovan: Even More Good Reasons will go on sale on Monday at 9am.

The former soap legend said: “The EMGR tour is a real opportunity to make people feel good.

“You can’t beat a live band, and the interaction with an audience. I like to create a show which is not just about singing songs, I like people to come into my world through the music, the stories the visuals and feel they’ve got to know me a little more personally.

“The music becomes a sentence in which my life is the complete story. My shows are almost autobiographical in a way.”

Jason turned into a household name in Ireland thanks to his role as Scott Robinson in Australian daytime soap “Neighbours”.

He added: “Following on from the success of Neighbours, I was lucky that I had my first musical success during an era when pop music was so alive. Mullets, double denim and Jive Bunny aside, I was and am a massive fan of the 80s.

“I look back at those times with such affection and sometimes have to pinch myself to think that, I was able to play a massive part of forming popular culture at the time.

“I’ve always said, you never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory. To be able to relive these moments through music is an incredible gift.”
