News broke that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were separating after 19 years of marriage and many declared that love is dead. But the more I learn about Keith Urban, the more I am like “Good for her for freeing herself.”
A source revealed to PEOPLE that when Kidman had her daughters with Urban, she took time to be all about them. But as they got older, she was ready to work again. The source said that she “truly thrived working again. She’s been feeling amazing and very happy about having a career again.” Which good! Nicole Kidman is one of the best out there so it has been nice seeing her shine.
But then the source went on to talk about how her return to work was received by her family. “Now when they are older, [Sunday and Faith] love seeing their mom work. They are very supportive of their mom,” they said. Then they spoke about Keith Urban, who they claim has “been the opposite” of supportive abou Kidman’s career.
The source told PEOPLE, “Keith was used to her being supportive of his career. He’s not been as supportive as she hoped.” Meaning that she was supportive of him but he couldn’t do the same to her. Are you…kidding me? You’re married to NICOLE KIDMAN and you fumbled that bag?
Since the news of their separation, reports have said that it was Urban who filed for divorce from Kidman. Then, there was news that Urban had a new girlfriend and then Kidman filed for divorce. Since, he performed a song that once had lyrics about Kidman in it and changed them to be about someone in the band.
All of this seems to point to one issue: A man does not want to support a woman. BOOOO.

Keith Urban knew Nicole Kidman and who she was when they were married. But, as is seemingly the case with men, when something changes in their routine, they lash out. Kidman went back to work but was supportive of HIM and his work. And he couldn’t do the same to her?
Now all of this is based on one source but I do think that it is interesting that from what we know, it all seems to be a little too heavily Urban’s decision. He filed, he left, and he is the one with the new girlfriend, reportedly.
I don’t know how he fumbled Nicole Kidman this badly but this is…certainly a choice.
