When England's huge Rugby World Cup semi-final will now be played and who they could face

England have progressed to the semi-finals of the Rugby World Cup after a convincing 40-16 win over Australia in the quarter-finals on Saturday.

Eddie Jones' men eased to a victory in Oita thanks to two tries from Jonny May and one apiece from Kyle Sinckler and Anthony Watson, while Michael Cheika's Wallabies failed to make a mark in the clash.

As the winners of the first quarter-final, England will now play their semi-final on Saturday, October 26 at 9am.

The match will be played out in Yokohama and they will play either reigning champions New Zealand or Ireland. The two sides face each other at 11.15am on Saturday, where it will be decided which side makes it through to next weekend's semi-finals.
