When does the January transfer window shut?

We're into the final days of the January transfer window.

Swansea City have brought in the loan signings of Rhian Brewster from Liverpool and the Chelsea duo of Conor Gallagher and Marc Guehi.

Cardiff City are yet to make a signing but are known to be in the market for new players.

But things could change even further.

Here's everything you need to know about deadline day.

When does the transfer window shut?

The 2020 January transfer window comes to an end at 11pm on Friday, January 31.

Cardiff City face Reading that night and Swansea play Preston the following day.

Can players be signed when the transfer window has closed?

Both yes and no. Free agents can be picked up after the deadline, but permanent transfers and loans must be completed before the 11pm deadline.

There is the option of deals being completed up to two hours after the deadline, as long as the deal sheet was submitted to the authorities in time.

How can I keep up to date on deadline day?
