When does the Championship resume? TV fixtures and key dates as Leeds United return to action

The Championship season is almost back after more than three months away due to the coronavirus pandemic.

At long last, the 2019/20 Championship campaign will resume on Saturday, 20 June when local and indeed promotion rivals Fulham and Brentford get the ball rolling again with an early kick-off in the capital.

But before Leeds United and their rivals resume, what do you need to know?

We have put together a useful guide with the opening and final rounds of fixtures, TV details and key dates.

Fixtures resume - Saturday, June 20

Final day - Wednesday, July 22

Play-off final - Unconfirmed. Believed to be either Sunday, August 2, or Monday, August 3.

First round of fixtures

Saturday, June 20

Fulham vs Brentford – 12.30pm (Sky Sports)

Blackburn Rovers vs Bristol City – 3pm

Huddersfield Town vs Wigan Athletic – 3pm

Hull City vs Charlton Athletic – 3pm

TV details

Sky Sports will show 30 of the remaining 108 Championship fixtures across their channels, beginning with Fulham vs Brentord on Saturday as part of three selections across the first weekend back.

Clubs are also streaming games for season ticket holders across iFollow - or club equivalent - platforms, and non-season ticket holders are also able to buy match passes to access fixtures for £10 per match.
