When does MasterChef Celebrity start and who is taking part?

More celebrities are set to enter the MasterChef kitchen - and fans haven't got long to wait.

The series will return in a matter of weeks after the BBC show announced its start date.

John Torode and Gregg Wallace will be back to set challenges and give their critique on what the latest batch of famous faces have to offer.

The show, which will air over six weeks, begins on Monday, August 9, at 9pm on BBC One.

Celebrity MasterChef 2021 line-up on BBC One (BBC)

The Celebrity MasterChef series will be shown over six weeks, with celebrities tackling a new series of cookery challenges.

Renowned chefs will appear as guest judges, including Tom Kerridge, Nisha Katona, Nieves Barragan Mohacho and more.

A teaser for the upcoming series has already been released and shows the celebs signing, laughing - and look slightly worried about the task at hand.

Last year's series was won by broadcaster and YouTube star Riyadh Khalaf.
