When does Love Island 2021 start and how can I watch it?

The seventh series of Love Island is set to begin on Monday June 28 as the dating show returns after a year off due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Laura Whitmore will host the programme from the now-familiar summer villa on the island of Mallorca, with her husband Iain Stirling returning as the voiceover narrator.

Producers have so far announced eleven of the singletons booked in for a stay – Aaron Francis, Brad McClelland, Chloe Burrows, Faye Winter, Hugo Hammond, Jake Cornish, Kaz Kamwi, Liberty Poole, Shannon Singh, Sharon Gaffka and Toby Aromolaran – with more expected to join the contestants once the series is underway.

It is understood the show will be aired for eight consecutive weeks, which would place the final on or around Sunday August 22.

The last series to be broadcast from the Mallorca villa was won in 2019 by Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea, who have since split up.

The show has produced a number of reality stars, including Molly-Mae Hague, Kem Cetinay and Olivia Buckland.

Love Island will be broadcast on ITV2 every evening at 9pm other than Saturdays.

All episodes will also be available to watch live or on catch-up on the ITV Hub.
