When does January transfer window close for Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham and the Premier League?

With the delayed start to the summer transfer window ahead of the start of the 2020/21 season, the January market has been quieter than usual but there are still deals to get over the line.

There was plenty of money thrown about in the summer window, too, with Chelsea big spenders, splashing out more than £200million, while Tottenham also completed a number of deals, which has impacted the business done this time around.

Arsenal are, however, expected to be busy in the final few days of the window.

Clubs are out to improve their squads ahead of the deadline which is fast approaching as the month comes to a close.

Here's all the information you need on the start and end of the January window.

When does the January window close?

The winter window will close this year on February 1, 2021.

This will enable clubs to complete countless deals, with the closure of the window pushed back a little due to the fact that January 31 is a Sunday.

What about loan deals?

Loan deals also tend to punctuate the January window, with out-of-favour players often seeking first-team minutes elsewhere.

This season, those decisions may be impacted by a congested calendar, however.

Loan deals must be completed on February 1 too.

Is there an extended window for loan and EFL clubs?

No. Unlike in October, there is no extra time allocated for trading between the Premier League and the EFL.
