The official release date of FIFA 20 is very nearly here, with the player ratings now available for the world to see and gamers enjoying the demo version of the game.
Lionel Messi has been named as the best player on FIFA 20, ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar, with Virgil van Dijk rated as the best defender on the game too.
So, when does FIFA 20 actually come out?
Well, there are actually three different release dates, depending on what edition gamers have bought and on what console.
And, there's a way that gamers could get their hands on the new game this week, although there is a catch.
Here are the confirmed release dates for FIFA 20.
FIFA 20 release dates
FIFA 20 is now available to pre-order for Origin, Xbox and PS4, with the following editions available.
FIFA 20 - Standard Edition (Origin, Xbox and PS4)
Rewards as part of Standard Edition:
- Up to 3 FIFA 20 Ultimate Team Rare Gold Packs (1 Per Week For 3 Weeks)
- Choose one of five mid-version ICON Items for 5 FUT matches

Release date of FIFA 20 Standard Edition: 27th September 2019
FIFA 20 - Champions Edition (Origin, Xbox and PS4)

FIFA 20 - Ultimate Edition (Origin, Xbox and PS4)

- Loan Icon Player Pick: Choose 1 of 5 Loan Icon Items (Mid Version) for 5 FUT Matches

Release date of FIFA 20 Ultimate Edition: 24th September 2019 (3 days early access)
FIFA 20 - EA Early Access
The earliest you can play FIFA 20 when buying a physical or digital copy of the game is 24th September 2019, if you buy either the Champions or Ultimate Edition.
However, there is a way that you can play FIFA 20 from 19th September 2019, using EA Early Access.
EA Early Access is available on Playstation and Xbox, allowing you to play early trials of a number of the most popular games.
So, by signing up for EA Early Access, you'll be able to play FIFA 20 from 19th September 2019.
But there's a catch, as it's only classed as a trial, you will be restricted to ten hours of gameplay between the 19th September and the 24th September.
EA SPORTS™ FIFA 20 on PlayStation ® 4, Xbox One, and PC officially launches September 27, 2019. However, you can play from September 24th with 3 Days Early Access, if you purchase the Champions or Ultimate edition.
