Level 5 has announced the long-awaited return of its football RPG world with Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road. The game’s anime cutscenes are produced with MAPPA, offering one of the longest and most cinematic experiences for anime fans the series has ever seen.
It’s designed to serve as a fresh entry point for new players, but longtime fans who grew up with the original series can still expect a nostalgia wave.
With a character-driven campaign, competitive play, built-in cross-platform support, and thousands of recruitable players, it’s shaping up to be one of Level 5’s biggest releases.
If you’re already envisioning your dream team or preparing for competitive play, early access and pre-order bonuses have lots to offer.

Platform-Specific Boosts

Each platform gets a specific boost that increases the chances of acquiring some rare characters in both Competition and Chronicle modes. However, these boosts don’t stick around forever and rotate every two weeks across platforms.
Right after launch, each platform will initially have certain character groups boosted for three weeks. For example, PC players on Steam will start with boosted acquisition rates for Group D teams (Team Ogre, Eternal Light, and Ancient Darkness).
Once those three weeks are up, the game shuffles the boosted groups every two weeks. After the first instance, for instance, Steam players will gain a better shot at recruiting Group A characters instead (Prominence, Diamond Dust, Zanark’s Domain).
This cycle ensures all platforms get a fair chance of acquiring different rare characters over time, following the bi-weekly rotation. Moreover, purchasing the game on multiple platforms and using the cross-save feature stacks the bonus rates. That means your odds of acquiring rare characters increase even higher.
