When does Disney+ launch in the UK, how much will it cost and how do I subscribe?

Following months of speculation, Disney's new streaming platform Disney Plus finally launched in the US, Canada and the Netherlands this week, and has already seen an eye-watering 10 million people signing up.

The service, which was launched to rival the likes of Amazon Prime and Netflix, features a whole host of family-favourite films and shows, including every episode of the Simpsons, a mixture of Marvel and Star Wars films, and of course, all the Disney classics.

However, following the platform's release, there's been one question on everybody's lips - 'when is Disney+ coming to the UK?'

The good news is, Disney+ does now have a launch date in the UK and Ireland. However, the bad news is, Disney fanatics will have to wait until 2020 to sign up, as it won't be available here until 31 March. GOD DAMN IT, DISNEY.

Posting on Twitter, fans have been reacting to the news, and their reactions are priceless.

The next question you're asking is probably 'how much will Disney+ cost in the UK?'

The streaming platform currently costs $69.99 a year in the US, or $6.99 a month. It's expected to cost around £5.99 a month when it launches in the UK, rivalling the likes of Netflix and Amazon Prime.

UK citizens will be able to sign up to subscribe as soon as the Disney+ website launches over here, and it's believed that the app will be accessible via Apple, Android, Google Chromecast and Roku TVs.
