When does Autumnwatch 2021 start and who are the presenters?

Autumnwatch is back with hopes to catch a baby beaver on camera this year.

The presenters will be coming together to return to the Springwatch location in Norfolk to see how the wildlife is coping a few months on.

The producers told the BBC they wanted to present "a vision of hope, inspiration, beauty and co-existence" in this series.

The mild autumn can confuse wildlife so viewers may see some odd behaviour when the show airs. Wildlife becomes accustomed to certain climates so changes can throw them off.

Audiences will be treated to four nights of live programmes and will feature presenters on the Isle of Mull.

When does Autumnwatch 2021 start?

Autumnwatch starts tonight and will be set at the sustainable farming project, Wild Ken Hill in Norfolk.

The first episode of this year's series airs at 8 pm on BBC Two on Tuesday 26 October.

Who are the presenters?

Chris Packham and Michaela Strachan are presenting the show tonight.

Gillian Burke and Megan McCubbin will also make appearances throughout the series.
