'When do we play Chelsea?' - Spurs fans revel in Blues' opening day horror show at Man United

It was an afternoon to forget for Chelsea today (Sunday) as they lost out 4-0 against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Frank Lampard's first competitive game in charge of Chelsea ended in a heavy defeat as two goals from Marcus Rashford, together with strikes from Anthony Martial and summer signing Daniel James, helped the Red Devils to a big win against the Blues.

The game was the first clash between two of the top six sides from last season in the 2019/20 campaign, with Manchester United laying down a marker with such an emphatic win at Old Trafford.

But it was not only United fans celebrating the outcome, with Chelsea's rivals also enjoying the result as the Blues crashed to the opening day defeat.

Arsenal fans certainly enjoyed it , having signed Brazilian defender David Luiz from Chelsea on transfer deadline day, while Spurs fans were no different as they revelled in their London rivals' humbling defeat.

And with Chelsea now sitting second from bottom in the Premier League, with only West Ham below them after the opening weekend, it was particularly sweet for Spurs fans.

Indeed, some Tottenham supporters have been taking to social media to express their delight at seeing two of their London rivals sitting in the bottom three in the current table.

Here's what some Spurs fans have been saying on social networking website Twitter this afternoon after Chelsea's defeat.
