Lots of shops have different opening times over the festive period and New Year's Eve is no different.
So whether you're in need of a booze run to top up the supplies for the big night or you need a ready meal for when you settle down to watch Jools Holland it's worth knowing who'll still be open.
Some stores vary from town to town but most of the stores are following a similar format.
This is when all the major supermarkets close on New Year's Eve.
Tesco
Express and Metro stores will open at their usual times and are generally opening until 10pm .
The big Extra stores are mostly staying open until 7pm .

Morrisons
Morrisons stores in Wales (and England) will all be opening and closing at the same time on New Year's Eve.
The stores will open at 7am and close at 6pm ; the cafes will open at 7am and close at 5pm ; and the petrol stations will be open from 6.30am until 6.30pm.

Sainsbury's
Most Sainsbury's Local stores will open at 7am and close at 9pm .
The main stores will generally be open from 7am until 7pm on New Year's Eve.

Asda stores will generally open at their usual times (varying from store to store).
They'll mostly be closing at 7pm on New Year's Eve.

Aldi
On New Year’s Eve Aldi stores will be open from 8am until 6pm .

Lidl
Lidl will open from 8am and close at 6pm on New Year's Eve.
