The Premier League fixtures have been announced for the 2019/20 season and a number of encounters immediately catch the eye.
Manchester United will begin their new campaign when they host Chelsea at Old Trafford on the opening day, and the fixtures don't get any easier after that.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his side will then travel to face Wolves away on the second day of the season while Leicester and Arsenal both also visit Old Trafford before the end of September.
Two of the toughest tests of the season will come when United face Liverpool in the league, but just when do the two fixtures take place?
19/10/2019 - United vs Liverpool
The first league encounter between the two league clubs comes as the ninth match of the new campaign for United. They host last season's runners-up at Old Trafford either side of lengthy away trips to face both Newcastle and Norwich. However, following this match United are set to be in Europa League action, but it remains to be seen if this will be at home or away.
18/01/2019 - Liverpool vs United
The reverse fixture between the two sides will come in January a couple of weeks prior to the league's inaugural winter break. Again this match will sandwiched between an encounter with Norwich, with a home match against Burnley to follow shortly after it.
