Sorry to be the bearers of sad news but Christmas will have to come to an end at some point and that means all the festive events will be packed up and leave Cardiff.

Winter Wonderland
The event, split across Cardiff Castle and City Hall Lawns and featuring an ice walk, ice rink and ice bar as well as food and drink, comes to a close on Sunday, January 2 . See what we thought of the ice bar, here.

The stunning light trail currently taking over a kilometre of the city centre park with several different zones and themes ends on Monday, January 3 .

Santa’s Victorian Christmas at Cardiff Castle
Although it's now sold out, for those lucky enough to have ticketst, the magical grotto in the Victorian castle's surroundings is on until Thursday, December 23 .
