Chelsea supporters have been left feeling a little bit confused after the team to face Wolves was revealed.
The Chelsea manager got fans talking when he named Andreas Christensen, Fikayo Tomori and Antonio Rudiger as part of his starting XI at Molineux.
With Marcos Alonso and César Azpilicueta also named, it hinted at a change of formation for the Blues, but Lampard kept his cards close to his chest about how his side will set up.
Asked if they'll be playing three at the back, Lampard told Sky Sports: "We'll see!
"There's a couple of changes and a couple of people back fit.
"Obviously Rudiger is one of the major players and regular starters from last season so it's good to have him back for his experience, personality and quality.
Willian has missed pre-season but has come back fit so it gives us more options."
Whether it's a strategic change or formation, or a desperate attempt to put square pegs in round holes, we'll have to wait and see, but the Chelsea fans have certainly had their say.
