'When did he last travel north of Watford?' - Arsenal fans react to a familiar Unai Emery call

Not for the first time this season Mesut Ozil has not made the journey up north.

The Arsenal No.10, their best-paid player at £350,000-a-week, was rested by head coach Unai Emery as part of a much-changed side that will take on Burnley. Lucas Torreira and Sokratis Papasthopooulos, both key players this season, were left behind in London.

Indeed this could be reflected as indicating that Ozil is a key part of Emery's plans for the more important game on the horizon, the Europa League Final in Baku on May 29.

However it would not be the first occasion this season when Emery simply decided not to make use of Ozil for away games. In total the 30-year-old has started seven of 19 road matches this campaign, only two of which have come since the start of 2019.

The German is certain to stay at Arsenal next season - his agent confirmed as much this week - but some Arsenal fans have expressed their concern over whether the club may look to move on from a player who has not always carried the manager's trust.

That is not their only cause for concern. Though young players Konstantinos Mavropanos, Matteo Guendouzi and Joe Willock were named in Emery's starting line-up - with Eddie Nketiah on the bench - there was also some disappointment over the failure to find room for bright young Under-23 prospects such as Bukayo Saka and Xavier Amaechi.

Here's how Arsenal fans have been reacting to Emery's final starting XI of the Premier League season...
