Staff at Costa Coffee have announced when a drive-through will open at a new retail park which has transformed the former Beechdale swimming baths site.
Customers will be able to get their caffeine fix from Thursday, October 1.
"The store, which has created nine new jobs, will allow for coffee enthusiasts to easily pick up their favourite handcrafted coffee, such as the iconic Flat White featuring Costa Coffee’s signature Mocha-Italia blend," a Costa Coffee spokeswoman said.
“Our number one priority remains the safety of our customers and team members, so ahead of opening we have ensured that the store has a number of enhanced hygiene measures in place that align with current Government guidelines.
"This includes the bespoke one of a kind serving hatches which allow customers to collect their order with no contact.
"These cleverly designed hatches, which lower items from the service hatch down to customer’s vehicles, have a built-in acrylic hygiene screen to provide maximum protection for both customers and Costa Coffee team members.
“We look forward to welcoming customers to our all-new drive-thru; the perfect way to pick up your favourite signature coffee, on the go.”
It will open on the same day as a new Lidl supermarket, which has created around 40 new jobs at the store off Beechdale Road.
Subway and Greggs could also open.
The Beechdale swimming baths shut in 2015 after Nottingham City Council opened the £16 million Harvey Hadden Sports Village, which has its own swimming facilities.
The dishevelled former bathhouse, built in the 1970s, was demolished in 2017.
The site sat empty until work began in earnest last year.
