We now know Chelsea will kick off the new Premier League season with a relatively short trip to Selhurst Park to take on fellow Londoners Crystal Palace on August 14.
The Blues will also end the season against a London club with a home clash with newly-promoted Watford on May 22, but when are the all-important London derbies with Arsenal and Tottenham?
Upon the release of the fixtures for the new season, the eyes of supporters tend to flick from first to last and then to the derbies.
And in the case of Chelsea's fixtures for the new season, fans do not need to look far to find out when Thomas Tuchel and his men will renew their rivalry against Arsenal and Spurs respectively.
The Blues are set to take on Arsenal on the second day of the season, travelling to the Emirates Stadium on August 21, though all fixtures are subject to change due to TV scheduling and European competition.
Tuchel's men also take on Tottenham within the first five games, set to take on Spurs away from home on September 18, while the return fixture is set to take place on January 22 at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues welcome Arsenal on February 12, and that clash is part of a difficult run of fixtures that will see Chelsea take on Liverpool, Manchester City, Spurs, Arsenal and Leicester City all within the space of seven games between the start of the new year and the end of February.
The Blues will end the season with a mixed run-in, facing West Ham, Everton, Wolves, Manchester United and Watford in their last five fixtures, and three of those games are set to be home.
Other notable games include a trip to the West Midlands to face Aston Villa on Boxing Day, while Liverpool will arrive at Stamford Bridge on New Year's Day.
