When bins in Liverpool will be collected over Christmas period

Christmas is a magical time of year - but it doesn't half generate some rubbish.

It is important to know when you can put your bins out over the festive period and get rid of some of that wrapping paper and those cardboard boxes that are suddenly cluttering your house.

If you live in Liverpool, the city council has now announced its changed schedule for waste collections over the festive period.

Below is a list of the normal collections times for Liverpool and the new revised times for the festive schedule that you should be aware of.

Residents have also been remined not to leave their green bins out for collection until Monday February 27 as the service is suspended for winter.

Mayor Joanne Anderson, who is also the Cabinet lead for Neighbourhood Services, said: “Please make sure you have checked the revised bin collection dates, so you don’t miss out on your collection this Christmas.”
