Arsenal fans have been told when they will be allowed to return to the Emirates Stadium to watch their team play.
The Gunners have not had fans inside their home ground since 2,000 were allowed in for their 1-0 defeat to Burnley on December 13th.
Spectators were also present for their 4-2 victory over Rapid Vienna in the Europa League on December 2nd.
However, a tightening of COVID restrictions around the Christmas period meant that games had to once again be played behind closed doors after this point.
However, Boris Johnson has now confirmed that football supporters can return from May 17th at the earliest.
Speaking in the House of Commons the prime minister confirmed that fans will be allowed back in stadiums from May 17, provisionally, which would allow up to 10,000 supporters or 25 per cent of capacity, whichever is the smaller, back inside grounds.
The first round of fixtures after this date is the final day of the Premier League season on May 23rd.
The Prime Minister made a statement to Parliament at 3:30pm and will host a televised press conference at 7pm, explaining his plans to ease restrictions on the country.
The first priority for the government is to reopen schools, which could come into effect as early as March 8.
From a sporting perspective, outdoor organised sports for adults, such as football, golf and tennis, is expected to be permitted from March 29.
Arsenal are one of the teams who are lucky enough to have a home game on the final day of the Premier League season.
They host Brighton for the match and will able to call upon the support of 10,000 of their fans as football starts to make its return to pre-COVID normality.
This will be the only game they are able to host fans for as the Europa League semi-finals - should the Gunners make them - are scheduled to be played on April 29th and May 6th as things stand.
