When Arsenal face Tottenham and Chelsea as 2021/22 Premier League fixtures released

We now know Arsenal will kick off their Premier League season with a new away day, taking on newly-promoted Brentford in their season opener on August 14.

The relatively local trip will be welcome by Arsenal fans, particularly if fans are allowed to travel, having never seen their side play at the Brentford Community Stadium previously.

And there is some more positive news in the form of a home final day, with Mikel Arteta's men set to face Everton at the Emirates Stadium on the last day, which is scheduled to be on May 22.

But when are the all-important London derbies? The first fixtures every fan looks for on Fixture Release Day.

Arsenal fans won't have to wait long at all to face Chelsea. In fact, the clash with the Blues is the Gunners' very first home game, currently set to take place on August 21st, though all fixture dates are subject to change due to TV scheduling which will be announced in due course.

The first north London derby is also relatively soon into the season, with the Gunners and Spurs set to lock horns for the first time on September 25, at the Emirates Stadium.

The return fixture will be on January 25 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, while Arsenal's trip to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea away from home is on February 12 as things stand.

Arsenal have a mixed start to the season, which could be important for Arteta as he looks to put last season behind him with a fast start to the campaign.

The Gunners face two of the newly-promoted sides in Brentford and Norwich City in their first six games, but they also face Chelsea, Manchester City and Spurs in that opening six.

Following the start of the new year, Arsenal will take on Manchester City and Spurs home and away respectively in consecutive games, while they will end the season with games against Manchester United, West Ham, Leeds United, Newcastle and Everton.
