When are The Script coming to Belfast's SSE Arena and how to get tickets

The Script have announced a new greatest hits album and revealed that they'll be returning to Belfast.

The Irish rock band will take to the stage at the SSE Arena on May 15, 2022, on the first night of their UK and Ireland tour.

Last playing in Belfast on March 3, 2020 - just days before coronavirus restrictions put a hold on live music for a year and a half - fans of the popular group will be excited for their return.

Pre-sale tickets can be secured by ordering new album, Tales From The Script, from the band’s official store before 3 pm on Tuesday, August 31.

Speaking about their new greatest hits album and their upcoming tour, frontman Danny O'Donoghue said: "The ‘Tales From The Script’ album is a springboard to our next chapter, but it’s also our story so far.

"We’re so excited to be taking it on the road. I know I’m gonna lose it on stage, night after night."

Tickets for the European dates will be available from 9:30am local time on Friday, September 3rd from local ticket outlets.

The new greatest hits album honours everything that the trio - O’Donoghue, Glen Power and Mark Sheehan - have achieved together since forming fourteen years ago.

It will also have a brand new song I Want It All, which Sheehan says, “delivers all the ingredients everyone knows and loves”, and the immensely popular Acoustic Sessions version of Never Seen Anything "Quite Like You."
