When are pubs opening in Wales? The date hospitality venues can reopen

As the weather gets warmer many people want to know when pubs, cafes and restaurants are reopening in Wales for beers in the garden, coffee outdoors and al freso dining.

But with lockdown restrictions easing slowly, it can be hard to keep up with the key dates.

In England, outdoor hospitality opened on Monday, April 12, but when are pubs welcoming back customers in Wales?

Here's everything you need to know.

When are pubs opening outside in Wales?

Hospitality venues can open outdoors only from Monday, April 26 across Wales.

The First Minister, Mark Drakeford recently confirmed the news alongside the announcement that six people from any number of households will be able to meet outdoors from Saturday, April 24. Social distancing rules still need to be adhered to.

He had already published the date of April 26 as the date venues should be working towards but recently confirmed they could go ahead and open their doors again. You can read more on pubs reopening here.

When are pubs opening inside in Wales?

No announcement has been made regarding pubs, cafes and restaurants reopening indoors across Wales yet.

However, it's expected Mr Drakeford will make announcement on Friday about this. You can read more on this here.
